Q: Please tell us a bit about yourself
Hi I am Kachal and I’ve been working at C2W for 6 years now. I’m working as a project engineer and my duties involve communicating with clients about product design and improvements, project management for tooling and mass production, quality control, logistics arrangements and dealing with customer complaint and find solutions.
When I joined C2W 6 years ago I was just finished with my bachelor degree in Business Management at JNU, which is China’s first and no.1 overseas Chinese university. Although my major study was Business Management in university, I’ve always got an interest in international trade. So I took a lot of optional courses in this area to prepare for it. I was originally recruited by C2W for Marketing but then I got a chance to change to my dream job which is project management! Working at C2W is my first official job after my graduation.
I would like to say that I am a person who is never satisfied about what I have learnt, which is the motivation to make me learn about other areas I am interested in, like 2D and 3D design and the process of putting the idea into an actual product.
I had also been a house teacher at night for about 8 years until 2 years ago when I was too busy in my official job to continue. I taught students from primary school to middle school for mainly Maths, English, Physics and Chemistry. For those 8 years teaching I not only managed to support my university by myself but most importantly I became more and more patient which really help me a lot in the job I do now.
Q: What do you like the most about working in C2W?
I like the company’s western management. C2W has understandable bosses who would allow enough space for my own development. I have lovely colleagues who became good friends and help me a lot. And, a very important reason as well, at C2W we have christmas holidays.
Q: When you’re not on duty which are activities during your leisure time?
First of all I like sports including badminton, swimming, climbing, bicycling. I’m also interested in studying 2D and 3D software, like Solidworks, AutoCAD, AI.. Last of all I like reading books, mainly books about history from countries all over the world.
